Keywords: ping, snmp

Basic monitoring uses ping as a detector and informs you by e-mail within a maximum of 1 hour. This service is offered with each VPS/dedicated and you just have to request its free activation. (provided that your firewall does not block ICMPv4)

Proactive monitoring uses the ping and the response of the most common services (Ports web/80, mail/25, ftp/21 etc.) as a detector.

For ports like port 80, it is also possible to detect a word in one of your pages and if this word is not found it could mean that the database is down and in this case an alert is issued.

You are alerted by email, SMS, and PushOver as soon as the detection has been made.

Our team immediately starts looking for the anomaly before waiting for you to open a ticket; in some cases it happens that our team opens a ticket for you.
