Laravel uses the "public" folder as the root of your site not the project root.

For this to work, you must add a configuration to your control panel:

In your "Site", go to the "Options" tab.

In "Apache Directives" add:

DocumentRoot "{DOCROOT}/public"

Save and wait 1 minute.
