# CloudVIP refund policy

## General policy

- Cancellation must be requested within 30 days of the transaction date to be eligible for a refund.
- Payments made with cryptocurrencies, tokens or other digital assets are non-refundable.
- No refund is granted for abusive use or conduct contrary to applicable law or the terms of use.

## Refundable products

- Web Pro Hosting, except the first payment following a free trial; Managed WordPress Hosting; Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates; Managed Web Platform; Managed Node.js Hosting.
- Managed Linux Server (VPS); Managed Mailcow; OPNsense Cloud Firewall; backups; dedicated IP addresses.

## Non-refundable products and options

- Setup and migration fees; Sectigo, RapidSSL, DigiCert and GeoTrust SSL certificates; all domain-name operations.
- VPS licences and upgrades; paid support services; telephone credit top-ups; Managed Proxmox Cluster; Managed Kubernetes/K3s.
- Services suspended, cancelled or terminated for abusive use or a breach of the general terms are not eligible.

## Special cases and offers

- A VPS plan is refundable within 30 days only when more than 180 days have passed since the customer’s most recent refund for another VPS plan.
- A paid internal migration is refundable only when it fails because of a technical error.
- When hosting associated with a free domain is refunded, the domain’s current price is deducted from the refunded amount.

## Chargebacks

- A chargeback breaches payment obligations and may result in service termination, account suspension and card payments being disabled.
- Restoration requires payment-method verification and full payment of all applicable charges.
- Customers are advised to contact customer service before cancelling a payment or requesting a chargeback.
